Fresh off Craigslist, a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! 1969 BMW 2002. Lovingly stored for years, it has a flashy custom paint job, and this very motivated seller only wants $4,250 for it.
But it gets even better. It comes with an extra motor and transmission.
Also, it’s not registered, and is non-operable. Other than that, it’s a steal at this price. After all, an actual running, registered BMW 2002 would cost !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !

I drive by a Golf Yellow 2002 every day (it’s about a block away from my house) it’s not for sale but is in fantastic condition and I would love to buy it off the old guy at some point.

I know where one of those parks as well, in that color. I believe the owner has a similar color car (a mk6 Golf? I forgot) that he parks next to it. Should make a picture some time.

I drove my first 2002tii yesterday. They’re fantastic little cars! It didn’t help to diminish my recent desire for an old BMW or Japanese car...

My dad hates all BMWs with a passion except two:
1) my 530i
2) his old 74(?) 2002tii he bought in 84 when he was 19 and stationed in germany

That poor, poor car. Only good for parts, buy the look of it.

I paid $4k five years ago for a 1974. The only work I have had to do other than maintenance is tightening up the shifter. The car runs like a marathoner from Kenya. This one seems expensive. Or maybe the values have really gone up?

I almost bought a shell a few months back as I was planning to swap it onto a awd DSM platform. Alas, the awd donor disappeared.
Guy only wants $750 for the shell but doesn’t have a title so I’m hesitant to pick it up as my next project.
